Faucet Repair - Compression Washer
When a faucet is in need of repair, water will drip from either the spout or around the stem. If water is coming from the spout, the problem is a worn or damaged compression washer and possibly a seat. Water dripping from the stem indicates that the packing material around the stem is worn or damaged. This video will show how to repair an outside faucet that is leaking from the spout due to a damaged compression washer.
